I dont want to show clothes, I want to show my attitude, my past, present and future. I use memories and future visions and try to place them in todays world.

Raf Simons

Raf Simons' spring/summer 2020 collection saw the addition of many new unique pieces, including this 'My own private Antwerp' tank top; shown off during the 2020 men's Paris Fashion Week. The pieces during this season's collection were strongly inspired by youth culture, with never before seen elements incorporated into fashion, such as; hospital workers and scientific environments. With the constant innovation Raf Simons brings to this industry: it is safe to say he has cemented his name as one of the most influential designers this art-form has ever seen.

Undercover

Japanese designer Jun Takahashi of Undercover; is known for his punk-fused, American-influenced streetwear. The Undercover motto is "We Make Noise Not Clothes." Takahashi and his work at Undercover has been making noise since the early ’90s, and they're only getting louder. With this piece; he draws inspiration from "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe. It’s printed with the brand’s ‘U’ motif at the front which; is overlaid with imagery from the poem’s accompanying etchings –silhouetted birds, drapery and staircases with one single word: "Nevermore".

Number (N)ine

Japanese brand Number (N)ine was created by designer Takahiro Miyashita in Tokyo during 1997. Takahiro Miyashita took inspiration from the track ‘revolution 9’, by the Beatles; which lyric’s have “number nine” reapeated continuously throughout the song’s duration. The brand dived head first into the world of punk rock with multiple pieces drawing inspiration from the genre. This specific tee was inspired by the originators of the american punk rock revolution: Led Zeppelin. This Number (N)ine tee is just one of numerous pieces by: Takahiro Miyashita; inspired by Led Zeppelin and punk culture.
